Welcome to OsteoFirst osteopathic clinic
How can we help you?
At OsteoFirst we are dedicated to providing the highest standard of osteopathic treatment for our patients. We understand how debilitating chronic pain can be. It can make even the simplest tasks seem impossible, and take you of the joy of doing what you love. By working with you to create a tailored treatment plan that aligns with your needs and goals we aim to alleviate your pain and improve your movement.
What does treatment involve?
Typical osteopathic treatment involves firstly taking a detailed case history including information about the onset and progression of symptoms and medical history. The osteopath will then perform a physical examination before progressing to treatment where appropriate. The osteopath will personalise their treatment techniques to suit each individual. These may include soft-tissue massage, joint mobilisation, muscle energy techniques and joint manipulation. At OsteoFirst our osteopath also has training in medical acupuncture and may incorporate this into treatment where appropriate if you choose to consent to this.
